Law Society of Nunavut Notice to Resident Members
The Law Society and the Nunavut Branch of the Canadian Bar Association have developed a cooperative relationship designed to bring resident lawyers professional development / continuing education opportunities, with other incidental benefits, such as enhanced collegiality. To encourage resident members of the Law Society to continue to take advantage of the Branch’s activities or to become involved, the Law Society is offering a $100 rebate to its resident members who renew or join the CBA in 2011. The Law Society will verify his / her membership with the CBA and issue a cheque, as directed by the member, to the member or the entity that paid the member’s Law Society fees for 2011. Renewing members and new applicants should email administrator@lawsociety.nu.ca when they have completed the process.
Membership in the CBA Branch has a variety of other benefits of which members can take advantage, such as: advocacy on your behalf, professional development opportunities, a voice to improve the justice system, and services to improve your bottom line.
