Who? Sophie Majeau-  Senior Director, Strategy & Marketing at LexisNexis Canada

Sophie Majeau has been working at LexisNexis Canada for over 25 years. Initially an Account Manager and Trainer for the Quebec and Northern New Brunswick region, she is now Senior Director Strategy & Marketing for Canada. As part of her duties, she contributes to analyzing customer needs as well as marketing products. She works closely with the company's various divisions to offer the best solutions to clients such as Lexis+ and Lexis+ AI. Ms. Majeau holds a bachelor's degree in law and a certificate in journalism from the University of Montreal, as well as a master's degree in alternative dispute resolution from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sherbrooke.

 In this session, we will delve into the critical aspects of responsible AI development, with a focus on the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI. We will explore the best practices that help ensure the safe and trustworthy deployment of these powerful technologies. Additionally, we will discuss the  importance of transparency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement to mitigate potential risks.
