Re: Summer Continuing Legal Education Reading List
While our synchronous CLE programming is slowing down during the summer period to allow for vacations and support lawyer mental health and wellness, here is a reminder that self-study and asynchronous learning are two great ways to get in your CLE hours.
- The LSN policy will allow you to learn more about eligible CLE activities: https://www.lawsociety.nu.ca/en/eligible-cle-activities
As illustrative examples, we at the LSN suggest the following exemplars of self-study summer reading and asynchronous learning material that are vacation-friendly and count for CLE credit, as recognized under the LSN policy:
- Recordings of past LSN CLE presentations: https://www.lawsociety.nu.ca/en/news/continuing-legal-education-cle
- Inuktut language training:
- Information about Inuit Social Values:
- Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada, “The Inuit Way: A Guide to Inuit Culture”
- Books about Indigenous people and law: https://learn.library.torontomu.ca/IndigenousLaw/books
Wishing you a restful summer filled with enjoyment and learning!
