Articles of Clerkship

Articles of clerkship provide students-at-law with an opportunity to learn how to practice law efficiently and effectively, and serve as a period of transition from the student's academic career to the practice of law.

Typically consisting of 12 months of continuous service under articles to a barrister and solicitor residing in Nunavut, articles of clerkship must be approved by the Membership and Admissions Committee (MAC).
