Pursuant to s. 9 of the Rules of the LSN and ss. 10 (1) of the Legal Profession Act:
- Location: Aqsarniit Hotel and Conference Centre, Iqaluit, NU.
- An option to participate through a virtual platform will be made available. Further details to come.
- Date and time: Thursday June 27, 2024, 6pm ET. Doors will open at 5:30pmET.
- Simultaneous Interpretation: Please contact the office at support@lawsociety.nu.ca by Friday June 14, 2024.
- Deadline to submit an election nomination form to support@lawsociety.nu.ca: May 28, 2024 at 12pmET.
- Election nomination form available in Inuktitut upon request. Please contact Lisa Bird: support@lawsociety.nu.ca.
- Short bios are welcomed for each candidate but not mandatory. Bios will be posted online and shared with the membership during the election process.
- Notice of Executive Elections is available in English and Inuktitut.
